Luke Littler sparks change from Jeremy Clarkson just days after World Darts Championship win
Luke Littler made history by becoming the youngest-ever world champion at the World Darts Championship last week – and Jeremy Clarkson has now taken action in the wake of his stunning triumph.
Littler, who is from Warrington, dominated the final against Michael van Gerwen, securing a decisive 7-3 victory to etch his name into the history books.
The teenage prodigy’s remarkable achievement saw him bulldoze his way past the experienced Dutch player in what turned out to be a one-sided final.
In response to Littler’s landmark victory, television personality Clarkson has now installed a dartboard at his Oxfordshire pub.
The new addition has been placed upstairs at The Farmers Dog in Asthall near Burford, alongside an existing pool table.
The establishment, formerly known as The Windmill, was purchased by Clarkson for approximately £1,000,000 last year and underwent months of renovation work.
The pub announced its new addition through a temporary story on its official Instagram account on Monday.

“Monday night billiards? We’re open until 11pm. A new dartboard awaits, as does a cold pint of Hawkstone and a sausage roll,” read the social media post.
It is just the latest sign of Littler fever gripping the nation.
Few had heard of the teenager a year ago, prior to the start of the 2024 World Darts Championship.
But Littler quickly became a household name with his performances at the oche as the youngster made the final of the competition at the first time of asking.
Last year, Littler was unable to secure glory with Luke Humphries reigning supreme instead.
Fast-forward to now, however, and he’s finally realised his dream of becoming a young champion with his thumping win over Van Gerwen on Friday.

Speaking after his win, Littler showed class by saying Van Gerwen ‘played well’ – and admitted he was stunned after etching his name into the history books.
“I can’t believe it. We both played so well,” he said.
“I’ve said in interviews that I needed to get off to a quick start tonight and that’s what I did. But he was behind me the whole game, those cover shots – he’d hit two trebles and I’d have to come back with two or three.
“Everyone dreams of lifting this trophy. You’ve got to get through a tough field. I can’t believe it.
“I keep saying it but that first game against Ryan Meikle [in round two] was the one that really mattered, and throughout I’ve just settled.
“At 2-0 up [in the final set] I started getting nervous but I said to myself to just relax. I was throwing for the match and to get it over and done with then was special.”
