Coleen Rooney shares first snap of husband Wayne as pair finally reunite after ITV I’m A Celebrity stint

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Coleen Rooney has finally reunited with her husband Wayne Rooney after four weeks apart.

The Wag entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle in a bid to be crowned Queen of the Jungle but was pipped at the post by McFly singer Danny Jones.

Despite the loss, Rooney was overwhelmed as she was reunited with her mum and dad alongside her two youngest sons Kit, eight, and Cass, six.

However, the one person who wasn’t there to greet Rooney when she came out of the jungle was her Plymouth Argyle Football Club manager husband.

The only communication she had with her husband was on Sunday night after she left the jungle on a Facetime call.

She told the Daily Mail: “Wayne just said how proud he was. Obviously, in the letter he sent to me in camp, he said he’s never missed me as much as he does now.”

Rooney also told Good Morning Britain hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid at the time: “He just can’t wait to see me, and I can’t wait to see him as well.”

The pair’s reunion was delayed as Wayne remained in the UK managing Plymouth Argyle.

The couple were finally reunited on Monday night and enjoyed a date night together, with Rooney sharing an image of the happy couple cosied up on her Instagram story.

Enjoying some time without their four sons, they posed in front of some Christmas lights at the Manchester Christmas market.

As Rooney returned to the UK, she also returned to her Instagram account and posted a video explaining how she was adjusting back to normal life.

She said: “Hi everyone, hope you’re ok. I’m back in the UK. I’m a bit jet-lagged. The kids are in school and I just wanted to come on and say wow wow wow.

“I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity and positivity that you’ve all shown while I was in the jungle and since I’ve come out.

“I can’t thank you enough for your messages, your comments and I am just so glad that you all enjoyed the show this year.

“Thank you to every single one of you that voted for me and kept me in until the end, because I got the full jungle experience. I can’t thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it.

“Don’t get me wrong, it was hard. It was really hard. But with your love and support and the love and support of my 11 campmates love and support and friendship, you all got me through it and I am so grateful for that.
