Alan Halsall’s daughter leaves ITV I’m A Celebrity fans ‘sobbing’ as she makes heartbreaking request in letter from home
Alan Halsall’s daughter Sienna left ITV viewers in “actual tears” during Sunday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The Corrie star, who’s emerged as a fan-favourite thanks to his adorable gestures to his co-stars and unlikely romance rumours with Tulisa, joined his campmates around the fire to hear from their loved ones as they received their letters from home.
Halsall shares daughter Sienna-Rae with ex-wife and fellow actor Lucy-Jo Hudson. The pair were married from 2009 to 2018 and welcomed their daughter in 2013.
While Hudson has spoken out about Halsall’s jungle stint before, Sunday was the first time fans heard directly from Halsall’s daughter.
After securing his letter from home, Halsall opted for campmate Melvin Odoom to read it aloud.
The presenter and DJ began: “To Daddy, I love you and I miss you so much. I’m really excited to see you and give you the biggest cuddle in the world.
“I’ve been wearing my lovely necklace every day,” Odoom continued as an emotional Halsall chuckled.
The letter went on: “When you come back, please can we do the Christmas tree together? Are you in the Christmas spirit yet? Because I am but I just need you to be with me.”
The heartfelt request left Halsall in tears and even prompted his campmates to let out an “awww” around him.
Odoom finished the letter: “I am really missing you tickling me under the chin but most of all, I am missing you.
“Kiss, kiss, I am missing you so much. Your daughter, Sienna, kiss, kiss, kiss and there’s a heart sign,” he pointed out.
A tearful Halsall clutched the letter as he wiped away tears and later in the show, he could be seen reading it over and over.
And it soon turned out it wasn’t just Halsall who’d been moved to tears by Sienna’s touching letter to her father.
On X, formerly Twitter, I’m A Celeb fans rushed to share their own reactions, with several left “sobbing” by the letter.
“Alan’s letters just ruined me,” one fan typed alongside a series of crying emojis. “And the fact that danny’s said ‘mush’ #ImACeleb #ImACelebity.”
A second echoed: “Alan’s letter from his daughter took me out… you can just tell he has a wonderful bond with her and is a great father #ImACeleb.”

“Alan’s letter from his daughter when she said she just wants him home for Christmas had me in tears #ImACeleb,” another said before a fourth weighed in: “Not a dry eye in this house during letters, but Alan’s letter had me sobbing. Daddy-daughter relationships are my weak spot #ImACeleb.”
“Actual tears when alan got his letter #ImaCeleb,” a fifth added, again alongside crying emojis.
And a sixth concurred: “Alan’s message from his daughter got me sobbing. The bond between a father and his daughter is obvious from that message which was pure love. #ImACeleb #imacelebrity2024 #imacelebrity.” (sic)
Elsewhere during Sunday’s episode, it was time for Dean McCullough – who’d previously clashed with Halsall – to pack his bags as he became the second celeb evicted.
