National Lottery issues urgent message to Britons as WRONG winning EuroMillions numbers sent out in £177m jackpot

Lottery players across Britain are being urged to double-check their EuroMillions tickets after incorrect winning numbers were initially distributed following Tuesday night’s draw.

The error occurred when an extra number was mistakenly added to the National Lottery’s winning line-up.

The mistake was only discovered hours after the draw and had been widely circulated, including through news outlets worldwide.

The Press Association has been identified as the source of the error and has since issued a correction.

The confusion comes as a British ticket-holder has indeed won the massive £177million jackpot, making it crucial for players to verify their numbers against the correct winning combination.

The correct winning numbers for Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw are 07, 11, 25, 31, and 40.

The Lucky Stars numbers are 09 and 12.

A UK ticket-holder has successfully claimed the staggering £177m jackpot in the draw.

The fortunate winner has secured one of the largest lottery prizes in British history, with the windfall coming just weeks before Christmas.

The massive prize has earned the winner a coveted spot on the National Lottery’s Rich List.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser for lottery operator Allwyn, expressed his excitement about the win.

“Wow, it has been a truly incredible night for a single UK ticket-holder who has scooped tonight’s jaw-dropping £177m EuroMillions jackpot,” he said.

“The win has landed them a spot on the National Lottery’s Rich List, as they have become the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time!”

Carter added: “What a wonderful win right before Christmas, and we cannot wait to pay out this amazing prize.”

The historic win marks another significant milestone for the National Lottery, with the winner joining an elite group of British lottery millionaires.

If the ticket holder is an individual rather than a syndicate, they will instantly become wealthier than some of Britain’s most celebrated musicians, including Harry Styles and Adele.

The winner now faces a significant decision regarding their newfound wealth.

They can choose whether to go public with their extraordinary win or maintain their privacy by requesting anonymity.

This choice will be available to them once they have claimed their prize and the winning ticket has been validated.
