GK Barry shares bizarre gift she gave girlfriend before entering ITV I’m A Celebrity jungle: ‘Not weird!’
GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, has shared a bizarre gift she gave her girlfriend before heading into the Australian jungle.
The podcast host, 25, is set to appear in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity alongside stars like Coleen Rooney, Jane Moore and Alan Halsall.
The star took to social media in the summer to reveal her budding relationship with England football striker Ella Rutherford, who’ll be supporting the podcaster from home while she heads Down Under.
They have holidayed together and met each other’s families, and their close relationship is what Barry will miss the most in her time away.
“When you are missing home and all you want is your comfort people, then that will be hard if they are not there,” she explained to ITV.
“But my girlfriend is also very excited for me and thinks I will do really well.”
To combat her heartache, Barry has left Rutherford a rather strange parting gift.
She explained further: “I have got her a cardboard cut out of me so it’s not weird when I am away!”
The Saving Grace podcast host shot to stardom this year as she made history by becoming the youngest-ever panellist on Loose Women.
Barry has come far since her rise to fame through creating TikTok content, however, she has recently overcome some hurdles.
The star faced controversy after hosting adult content creator and OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue on her podcast recently, a show that many young girls watch. Barry has since removed this interview in response to the backlash.
It was also reported that she had been suffering from tonsillitis and gut problems only days away from the start of the Bushtucker Trials, as her manager recommended that she went on an IV drip.
Speaking with ITV, Barry had already expressed concerns about the trials that lay ahead.
“I am scared of the Trials, and I am genuinely scared of everything,” she claimed.
“The eating trial to me is the worst thing you can do to a human being. You also don’t know who you are going to click with either but hopefully, after the first week, I will settle in nicely.”
Regardless of these issues, Barry is determined to make the most of the experience.

“I am imagining this as a retreat. I can’t wait to not have to be on social media and I think the small food portions in camp will be fine too,” the Loose Women star said.
She also expressed her love for the show, and despite lacking confidence that she will win, she aims to give it her best shot: “Of course, it would be a dream to win after watching the show for years and it would be absolutely mental if I did win.”
