Zara and Mike Tindall rub shoulders with BBC Strictly star as couple make rare outing

Zara and Mike Tindall were pictured rubbing shoulders with a BBC Strictly star as the couple made a rare evening outing.

The royals attended the Annual Remembrance Day Dinner at Vitners Hall in London with Nick Knowles, who competed in Strictly Come Dancing this year.

Mike uploaded a joint post on his Instagram account of him looking dapper in a black suit, white shirt, and black bow tie, while Zara stunned in a matching black dress covered with gold leaves and a sparkly poppy.

Knowles also looked suave in a black suit, white shirt and long black tie.

Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly, the Tower of London’s own Beefeater, joined the trio for their evening.

The social media caption, written by Rugby for Heroes, read: “Vital funds were raised for our servicemen and women at our Annual Remembrance Day Dinner, with Patron Mike Tindall joined by wife, Zara, standing side by side in a night dedicated to honouring the lives of our military community.

“The evening was a poignant reflection on the unbreakable bond between rugby and the armed forces, made even more meaningful by the presence of our devoted ambassador Nick Knowles, former England rugby player Andy Goode and Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly.

“Their attendance, along with supporters of our charity, highlighted the shared respect and camaraderie between sports and service.”

They continued: “A particularly special moment came as we recognised our latest course attendees, who wore their medals as a proud symbol of their unwavering support and resilience.

“They shared the profound impact of our #transitionthroughrugby course and their experiences of resettling after service.”

Rugby for Heroes added that the dinner was held to raise funds for their wider military family as well as to “commemorate the sacrifices of our military heroes”.

They added: “We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported us.”
