Alan Titchmarsh, 75, sparks meltdown as he welcomes ‘new star’ to ITV show: ‘Go for it!’
Alan Titchmarsh spread joy to his Instagram followers on Thursday as he introduced an adorable new guest for his ITV series.
The gardener shared a snap of golden retriever-Labrador cross, Titch, explaining the puppy had joined the Love Your Weekend team.
Responding to the sweet photo of a smiling Titchmarsh sitting outside with the adorable puppy sat in front of him, fans were sent into a frenzy.
The pooch attracted a flood of comments, with the presenter captioning the post: “‘Love Your Weekend’ has a new star: Titch – the Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy.
“We’ll be following his training with interest and encouragement. Go for it Titch!”
Titchmarsh’s followers found the newbie irresistible, with one writing: “Wonderful and great name choice too!”
“Good luck with little Titch. Lovely photo,” a second shared.
“He is beautiful good luck little one,” another fan commented.
Another echoed these sentiments as they penned: “Wonderful picture, great project.”
“the warmest wishes for both of you in new season, dear Alan. We are watching your great program here in far Moscow with big interest!” someone else enthused.
“What a gorgeous puppy, hope he does really well,” another fan posted.
“Ah wonderful! I sponsor a guide dog puppy,” one more added.
It seems Titch is destined for canine fame, with the current Love Your Weekend series scheduled to continue until June next year.
Titch has already made his debut on the show, with the official Guide Dogs UK account sharing another post about Titch’s journey.
Last week, the Instagram post read “Yesterday’s ‘Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh’ featured our guide dog pup, Titch!
“From bonding with his new puppy raisers to practising confidence-building exercises, he’s on his way to becoming a future guide dog.”
