Martin Daubney on why he joined GB News: ‘I was fed up of being only working class person on panels’

Martin Daubney says he was “fed up of being shouted at” after years of appearing on panels at other mainstream media outlets.

“I was the only working class person ever on the panel,” he said in a behind the scenes video. “The only person ever who voted for Brexit, the only person who ever said we should have stricter border controls.

“The only person who said ‘actually, I quite like coal, I quite like gas, I quite like my car, I’m proud of my country and stop slagging off our heritage and all it stands for’.”

Reflecting on why he joined GB News, the presenter said: “After years of being shouted at as being the only person with those opinions, GB News came along and suddenly I realised there are millions of people who think just like me and just like you.

“We are not alone. We are the People’s Channel. So I want to hear from you. Why do you love GB News?”

GB News is hosting a special Meet the Presenters Q&A with Martin Daubney next week, on November 6 at 12pm, exclusively for VIP members.
