Pete Wicks dodges grilling surrounding his ‘romantic’ relationship with BBC Strictly partner Jowita Przystal
Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks was brutally grilled by friend and podcaster Olivia Attwood on his relationship with BBC partner Jowita Przystal.
In the last few weeks, Wicks has been linked to Przystal and has been seen getting cosy with the dancer, as well as sharing a kiss with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
Wicks and Przystal have continued to show their undeniable chemistry on the dance floor, as well as showing their flourishing friendship on social media.
The Strictly star recently sat down with Attwood on her podcast – So Wrong It’s Right – and was subjected to a grilling from the ITV star.
“Your dating life. Maura Higgins,” she bluntly began which left Wicks to laugh and answer: “Me and Maura have known each other for a long time.”
The pair have previously been spotted kissing outside the Broadwick Soho Hotel, cementing rumours the two were dating – although they’ve remained tight-lipped about their situation.
Not letting the comment slide, Attwood added: “You’ve had a kiss, we’ve seen it!” but Wicks quickly denied anything romantic had happened between the two, insisting: “No, you haven’t seen it.”
Swiftly moving on to his next romantic connection, she added: “We’ve seen a picture of it. Next thing I need to know, are you and your dance partner romantically involved?”
Wicks couldn’t contain his laughter at the comment, but didn’t shut down the rumours either as he deflected: “One of the biggest problems is my b*******.
“Well I’m having to wear like Spanx … because otherwise Shirley will end up with a couple of black eyes.”
Last week, Wicks appeared to plant a kiss on Przystał’s lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck in a passionate embrace.
The photos, published in The Mirror and other publications, show the two looking cosier than ever during their behind-the-scenes rehearsals.
A source told The Mail on Sunday that Pete is smitten with Jowita and said: “Pete has fallen head over heels for Jowita. He thinks she is amazing in every way.
“The feeling is mutual from her side and things have definitely progressed between them. They are all over one another behind the scenes, in a way that a loved-up couple would be.”
